  • Review clinical trial data supporting medical society recommendations for patients with treatment-resistant RA
  • Review current guidelines for RA, with focus on diagnosis and treating-to-target
  • Describe the role of inflammatory cytokines in the pathogenesis of RA, both articularly and systemically
  • Discuss the use of cytokine inhibition as a treat-to-target strategy in patients with treatment-resistant RA

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of primarily rheumatologists with a secondary audience of internists and allied healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
