  • Determine how various insulin formulations may increase or decrease the risk of hypoglycemia.
  • Discuss approaches to assessing the risk of symptomatic and asymptomatic hypoglycemia in individual patients.
  • Evaluate non-pharmacological strategies for minimizing the risk of hypoglycemia.

The AOA Bureau of OMED is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.
