TARGET AUDIENCE

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of oncologists, oncology nurses, pathologists, radiologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare practitioners who care for patients with soft tissue sarcoma.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

After completing the educational activity, learners should be better able to:

  • Review best practices for making an accurate, pathologically-driven diagnosis of STS
  • Describe the benefits of a multidisciplinary approach to the management of patients with STS, including referral to expert centers
  • Discuss challenges associated with the designing, conducting, and interpreting clinical trials for STS treatments
  • Evaluate the clinical evidence supporting advanced STS treatment options that can be used to personalize patient management across all lines of therapy.
