After completing the CME activity, learners should be better able to:
- Describe signaling pathways that affect IBD pathophysiology and the role of Janus kinase (JAK) pathways in cytokine effects
- Discuss interpretations of laboratory and physical findings in addition to the mucosal status to optimize appropriate IBD therapy
- Identify clinical applications of available and emerging agents to reach treat-to-target therapeutic goals
