Votes for the Voters: Capitol Hill's Eye on the 2014 Midterms

Join Roll Call's top congressional experts for a gimlet-eyed look at the legislative agenda for this spring and summer, when every member of Congress will be focused squarely on their potential fortunes and failures in the November mid-term elections.

Roll Call Editor-in-Chief Christina Bellantoni will moderate a discussion with Senior Editor David Hawkings, legislative reporter Emily Ethridge and Senate leadership reporter Niels Lesniewski.

This one-of-a-kind video webinar will focus on how Democratic and Republican leaders will try to frame the legislative agenda for maximum advantage in the battle for majority control in the House and Senate.

Christina Bellantoni is Roll Call's Editor-in-Chief. She has been writing about politics in Washington since 2003. She most recently was Political Editor at the PBS NewsHour. She will moderate the discussion and provide analysis.

Emily Ethridge covers health care policy as a staff writer for CQ Roll Call. Prior to that, she covered several committees, the Senate floor, and the House floor as part of CQ's legislative action team. She also wrote for a newsletter covering the prescription drug and medical device industries.

Niels Lesniewski covers the Senate for Roll Call. He joined what is now CQ Roll Call in September 2007 and is known for his expertise on the peculiarities of Senate procedure.
He has contributed to coverage of all the biggest policy stories on Capitol Hill in recent years, including the response to the 2008 financial collapse, the health care overhaul and several budget standoffs.

David Hawkings is a Senior Editor at Roll Call and the author of Hawkings Here, a blog about Congress. He will tie politics in with policy.

Christina, Emily, Niels, and David will also take your questions, so join the conversation!
